Ravna — the black scavenging bird of roads and battlefields.
Notes
Follows caravans, herds, and armies, and is generally the first thing to arrive after any of them have gone. Intelligent in the way the Broek is, and untrainable in the way the Broek is not.
Unwelcome everywhere and killed nowhere. Stormharbor holds that a Ravna over a ship is worth noticing and disagrees about what it means.
A bony ridge runs along the leading edge of the wing, which is what settles most disputes over a carcass.
