Letwyg — a cook; one whose trade is feeding a household or a house of business.
Notes
A hired Letwyg is commoner in a household than a slave is, being a wage rather than a purchase. A Therplae lives or dies by hers, and an eating house in Shining Reach is known by the name of its Letwyg before the name of its owner.
