Therplae — a tavern; a house selling food, drink and beds.
Notes
The ordinary house of every city, from a dockside room selling stew and ale to the finest eating house in Shining Reach, which differ in price and polish rather than in kind. Families eat in one, travellers sleep in one, and the regulars have had the same table for thirty years. The sign says what the house is, and nearly everybody can read it.
