Stilgaerdh — a stone garden; an enclosed space of arranged rock kept for quiet.
Notes
Clearhold’s and nowhere else’s. Precise geometric arrangements of mountain stone in raked ground, enclosed by a low tile-roofed wall, with a small clockwork water feature feeding a stone channel.
There is one in most Baenka levels and several in the civic quarter. Nobody eats in them, nobody meets in them, and they are maintained to the same standard as everything else in the city.
