Soenkra — to scuttle; to sink one’s own vessel deliberately rather than let it be taken.
Notes
A last act and a considered one. A Naevmastra who Soenkras has decided the ship is lost and that the taking of it would cost more than the losing, and the decision is his alone to make. Stormharbor regards it as an honorable end and the Iron Coves regard it as spite, which is the whole difference between the two places in a single word.
