Shadvaen — a radiograph; the plate and the image on it. Also to take one.
Notes
One flat shadow of what is inside a person. It shows bone and anything dense that should not be there, and with contrast it outlines the gut, the vessels, and the spaces of the brain. It does not show the substance of an organ.
