Eldspraecha — the elder speech; the oldest form of the language, as the survivors wrote it down.
Notes
What scholars call the first layer of the tongue. Nobody speaks it. Its makers called it by a name meaning the rotted-brain tongue, each in whatever language they spoke, and the joke in it is nine centuries past recovery.
