dā- — the masculine authority gender prefix. Used specifically for status and authority words (Jugōr, Jugān) where the standard casual brō- prefix would undermine the weight of the address. Evolved from proto dadĥi (father/daddy with dominant masculine energy), contracted over centuries of daily use in the slave-owner relationship.
