kapashra
Stage Modern CLT
Pronunciation /ˈkapaʃɾa/
Part of speech Noun
Etymology from Middle kapasira
Related words Saenydd

kapashra — a person’s capacity; how much work, duty or hardship they can carry.

Notes

Understood as finite and as differing between people. A master who loads a person past their kapashra has misjudged them, which is a failure of knowing rather than of kindness, and is treated as such.
