badh
Stage Modern CLT
Pronunciation /ˈbað/
Part of speech Verb
Etymology from Middle bati

badh — to bait; to test or provoke another in conversation to draw out their true nature.

Notes

A salon practice in Shining Reach and a tavern one everywhere else. Done well it is entertainment; done clumsily it is an insult, and the line is not always obvious to the person doing it.
