Eiveil is the second month of the Yeirath: early spring, given to awakening and renewal, and to the Personal aspect of the Oathbond. Like every month it has forty-five days in five nine-day weeks, beginning on Daun and ending on Stil.
The whaling fleet sails from Stormharbor, the sea routes open as the storms ease, and the year starts moving. Eimr, the Emergence, falls at its end, when shutters come off and the first Grael is eaten. In Eldershore the dry season is ending.
