Waeka
Stage Modern CLT
Pronunciation /ˈwaɪ.ka/
Part of speech Noun
Etymology from Middle Wēkē, from Proto wek
Related words Kopra, braswy, Aern

Waeka — tin. Soft, pale, and low-melting.

Notes

Alloyed with Kopra for bronze, used to line cookware, and beaten into sheet for anything that must not rust. It is scarce and comes from a small number of workings, which keeps the price up and the trade profitable.
