|---|---|
| Stage | Modern CLT |
| Pronunciation | /ˈkɔɪ.pi/ |
| Part of speech | Noun |
| Etymology | from Middle kōpiūm, from Proto kopium |

koepi — comfort taken in a belief one has reason to doubt.
Notes
Gentler than bwylei and not a disorder: koepi is knowing better and choosing the comfort anyway, which everyone is understood to do. A merchant who insists the ship is merely delayed is taking koepi, and a friend who says so is being unkind rather than wrong.
