| Dylwy | |
|---|---|
| Stage | Modern CLT |
| Pronunciation | /ˈdɪl.wɪ/ |
| Part of speech | Verb |
| Etymology | from Middle dilwidē, from Proto dilwidi |
| Related words | Woemet, Well |
Dylwy — go. A command dismissing a person from the room or from one’s presence.
Notes
The counterpart of Woemet, and not a rebuke. It means the matter is finished and she is to be elsewhere. Distinct from Well, which releases her from whatever she is doing without sending her anywhere.
