Poeddra — a cartridge pouch. The leather case worn at the belt or on a shoulder strap.
Notes
Holds prepared paper cartridges in a drilled block so they do not shift or crush. Oiled, with a deep flap.
A man’s Poeddra is the most personal thing he carries and the first thing he checks. Wet cartridges are a weapon that does not fire, and a soldier who lets his get soaked has made the only mistake that matters.
