'''Please read this before using the wiki or the ''Oathbond World Bible''.'''

== This is fiction ==
Teraell is an invented world. Everything on this wiki and in the ''Oathbond World Bible'' — its laws, customs, institutions, philosophy, and the practice of slavery it describes — is fiction, written for the purpose of storytelling, game design, and world-building. It is not a description of any real place, people, practice, or person, including the Owner. The Owner's private life is not the subject of this work, is not described by it, and should not be inferred from it.

== It is not instruction, and it contains no safety information ==
Nothing here is advice or instruction. Teraell depicts slavery, servitude, corporal correction, the buying and selling of people, and unequal relationships as facts of an invented society, and acknowledges that sexual service exists within it. Depicting a thing is not approving of it, and describing how an invented society does a thing is not describing how to do it.

Some readers may find the setting's ideas — the Oathbond, station, service, obligation — meaningful, and may discuss them, or draw on them, in their own lives or communities, including communities built around consensual power-exchange or BDSM. That is their choice and their responsibility. This work was not written for that purpose, contains no guidance on consent, negotiation, safety, health, or law, and must not be relied on as if it did. Anyone who takes anything from Teraell into their own life does so entirely on their own judgment and at their own risk.

The Owner is an author. The Owner does not supervise, certify, sponsor, or offer guidance to any person, relationship, group, or community, and accepts no responsibility for how anyone chooses to interpret or apply this fiction.

== Adults only ==
This wiki and the ''World Bible'' contain mature themes, including slavery, servitude, coercion, and corporal punishment, and make frank reference to sexuality, though they do not depict sexual acts. They are intended for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, leave now.

== You are responsible for your own conduct and your own jurisdiction ==
Laws concerning the depiction of sexual content, violence, slavery, and related subjects — and concerning real-world activities that resemble them — differ from country to country. By reading this wiki or the ''World Bible'', you confirm that doing so is lawful where you are, and you accept sole responsibility for that. You likewise accept sole responsibility for anything you do, create, publish, or participate in that is informed by this material.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Owner disclaims all liability for any harm, injury, loss, legal consequence, or damage of any kind arising from your reading of this material or from any action you or anyone else takes because of it. If you cannot accept that, do not use this wiki.

== For creators ==
Works made under the [[Meta:Teraell Creator License]] are the responsibility of their creators alone. Creators must not present Teraell's fictional practices as real, safe, lawful, or recommended, and must not use the setting to promote any real-world activity. See §4 of the License.

== If this material is affecting you ==
If reading about these subjects is distressing, or if you are in a relationship or situation you did not freely choose and cannot freely leave, please reach out to local support services or a trusted person. This wiki cannot help you, but people can.
